We love the life of the shop, we wanted to stay like this, faithful to ourselves, gathered around our work table where we embroider with gold and titanium threads, we carve ophthalmic lenses in friezes and leaves, we tie together pieces of wood, horn, acetate to build ever more ambitious balances.
But we are Venetians and the gaze towards the sea, beyond the horizon, is part of our DNA. We have always used technologies to stay in touch with our friends spread over the five continents, but in this climate of general revolution we have decided to renew our thinking and our communication system. This magazine is the symbol of rediscovering time, slowness and in-depth study.
The new website, combined with a monthly newsletter and a schedule of contents for social channels made up of images, testimonials and – above all – videos, is the symbol of contemporaneity. In short, we take back time and we also take back space.
The new website – www.micromega.it – is designed to offer the world a showcase on our shop: you can discover the models, choose and place orders at the speed of a click. But it is also a door to our world: enriched with contents, interviews, videos, articles that talk about us in Venice, Italy and a vision of the world made of beauty, art and peace. The site tells about the shop, the eyewear but also the MAC, our multifunctional space that periodically hosts exhibitions, conferences, and which is finally back in business after the months of the pandemic.
In this redesign, Micromega remains true to itself by discovering new languages to tell about itself: you can follow them all or choose the one that suits you best. One thing is certain: we will always try to convey a message that goes beyond the communication of a product. A message that is a philosophy of positive happiness: and if we succeed even for a moment … we will be happy.
